Freedom in Christ Series

Freedom... It is so important and you often don’t realise how important it is until it is taken away from you.
The book of Galatians is an entire book about freedom and liberty and not putting ourselves under the bondage of the Law any longer. As humans, I think one of the biggest things we struggle with is... guilt. Guilt. It drives us crazy. It keeps us awake at night and causes us not to function well. Doctors are estimating that as much as 70% of all illnesses are psychosomatic which are disorders that involve both the mind and body. In other words, the illness may be emotional or mental in origin but have physical symptoms. Psychosomatic illnesses are not imaginary.
This book of Galatians could be the best piece of medicine that you have ever had for your complaints. Because it is about being free. Free from guilt and anger and stress and depression and helping us not return to these tough taskmasters that have enslaved us for so long.
The Greek scholar and Bible Translator, Bruce Metzer, said this about the book of Galatians: “The book of Galatians caused Christianity to become a world religion rather than to remain a sect of Judaism.”
I urge you to listen to this series and learn how to have freedom in Christ.
